Stampin' Up! Boutique Boxes Designer Kit

While I was blog surfing the other day, I came across Jenny Peterson's Lakeside Stamping blog and saw her cute gift card holder, made from the Boutique Boxes Designer kit. I've shamelessly cased it - but you can check Jenny's blog out HERE. She also has a step by step video on how to recreate it, so if you've got the kit, why don't you give it a go. And, if you haven't got the kit, you can contact me to order one today. I think you'll agree, that it's adorable!

To create this little beauty you will need the Boutique Boxes Bundle which includes the Designer Printed Kit and A Little Greeting Stamp Set for only $27.95 (#131104 on page 25 in the Seasonal Mini catalogue). The kit also includes 16 Buttons (8 each in 2 colours), Crumb Cake Bakers Twine, an embellishment sheet, stampin' dimensionals, 8 note-cards and 8 die-cut printed boxes with paper buttons.

If you look at the bottom photo, you can see the little greeting card that can be slipped inside, for you to write on. And, the envelope is big enough to also include a gift card. Too cute!

Stamp set: A Little Greeting

New Wood-mount Boxes coming soon...

With the launch of the new Catalogue starting on 1st July, all wood mount sets will come in new packaging. The new cases are similar to the clear mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set, even easier.

Empty cases will also be available which means that you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes! There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available 1st July). A pack of 4 half size cases (9.5 x 14cm) will sell for $10.50 and a pack of 4 full size cases (19.1 x 14cm) will be $14.50.

And, as you can see in the video above, the new cases can be used for storing lots of items besides stamp sets...

Stampin' Up! Curly Cute

This was the card I made for a friend who has recently graduated - well, actually it was a few weeks back now, truth be known.... Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make her graduation, but I wish you all the best Lisa, in your new career. Onwards and upwards from here :-)

It was a very easy card to make and I was able to make a few in an hour (I changed the messages), while watching television. I cased it from Erin Gonzales and love the bright cheerful colours and simplicity of it.

Ink: Melon Mambo
Designer Series Paper: Brights Designer Paper Stack
Accessories: White Bakers Twine, Brights Designer Buttons

Happy 17th Birthday Bridgette!

Light the candles, cue the music and get ready for some birthday fun! It is my youngest daughter, Bridgette's 17th birthday today. I'm not able to spend the day with the birthday girl as am away at the moment, but we celebrated early and had a lovely day together a few weeks ago.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIDGETTE ROSE! Wishing you a day full of sunshine and smiles and an awesome year ahead!

This card was inspired by Nanci Siegrist at Craft Haven Retreats. I've used a mixture of old and new products and it was lots of fun to make. A different card for a teenager, but hopefully Bridgette will like it.

Stampin' Up! Spring Sampler

I've been meaning to post the Easter card that I made my daughters, for a while now. I've just had too many other things to show you, so this got pushed to the bottom of the pile... Oh well, better late than never.

It's probably a bit young for my girls (they're almost 17 and 19 years old), but I love cute little images (and am in denial that they're growing up) so they just have to put up with me :-)

Stamp set: Spring Sampler
Card Stock: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Bashful Blue

Stampin Up!'s Tea for Two

This was the card I made for my lovely upline Karen Rogers, for her birthday last week. It's a total case from Patsy Waggoner who is a demo in the States. I love the colours that Patsy used - nice, bright and cheerful. And, I must say that the Designer Series Paper Tea for Two is one of my favourites. I love how you can punch or cut out some of the accents like the circle of flowers.

Stamp set: Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess set, retired)
Card Stock: Marina Mist, So Saffron, Whisper White, Lime Limeade
Ink: Lime Limeade
Designer Paper: Tea for Two
Accessories: White Bakers Twine, Brights Designer Buttons, Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding Ribbon (retired)

I hope you didn't forget to wind your clocks back last night to get that extra hour. Even though I don't like the thought that winter is around the corner, I do love that today feels as though it's lasting forever. Enjoy your Sunday!
