Merry Christmas

Christmas is upon us and the close of another year,
The time of writing lists to do, to buy, to make, to share
But let us not forget the true meaning of this day,
Spending time with those we love, enriching our life's way.
From my family to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and
may the holiday season be full of joy, hope, peace and cheer.

Stampin' Up! Going Global Sneak Peek

The first stamp set I'm going to play with from the new Occasions Catalog is the Going Global stamp set.  Because I travel so much with my job - {which I love, love, love}, it's the one I adore the most and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Actually any stamp, designer paper or embellishment that resembles traveling, I just have to have it!

This is another make 'n take that my friend Sally made for me at the OnStage event last month using the Going Global set. It comes with a coordinating embossing folder and designer paper. Great for masculine projects too :-)

Have a great day!!

Going Global and Sneak Peek

Stampin’ Up! has announced some big changes to their systems recently, to make the company much more global.  As many of you know, over the last 8 years we've had a South Pacific training convention in Australia, but now we're having global conventions called OnStage.  The entire Stampin’ Up! world meets on the same day to enjoy training and live streaming as well as local training and demonstrations.

Our inaugural OnStage was in November and unfortunately, although I registered to attend the event, I was delayed overseas and so missed it.  However, because I had paid to attend, I still received all the gorgeous goodies that those who attended received including the new Occasions catalogue, that goes live in January.  Each attendee was also given a 6 month planner, along with a lots of other gifts and prizes.

Here is one {of the four} make 'n takes that my friend and fellow demonstrator Sally made for me on the day. It uses products from the new Occasions catalogue which is being released on 5 January. I bet you thought that there was designer series paper (DSP) but it's been stamped using the fabulous new set Botanical Blooms and made to look like DSP.  The main feature flower and leaf have been cut out using coordinating framelits.  Doesn't it look fabulous?!

I’d love to have you sitting with me in April at the next big OnStage Event {assuming that I don't get delayed overseas again :-)}. If you're someone who wants up to the minute training, pre-ordering opportunities and so much more, check out my page to Join my TeamIf you have anymore queries, don't hesitate to either email me or call me on 021 260 6680

Enjoy your weekend!!

The Occasions Catalogue is coming in January along with Sale-a-Bration and they're both just lovely. I'm so excited about whats to come however, I'm not sure my Bank Account is!

Big apologies for being MIA (missing in action) for the last few months. I've been extremely busy at work and have been flitting all over the world (I love my job!) I also managed to get away for a holiday in October with my two daughters and granddaughter. We went to Hawaii and had a fabulous time. The temperature was around 28- 30° so lovely enough to don the swimsuit and venture to the beach. The water was beautiful and warm and I could seriously live there, given the chance. And, talk about shop till you drop! My daughters put me and all the ladies I work with, to shame! Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and eight days was not long enough {sigh}. And, as you know, we had a visit by our future King and his wife Camilla. I was involved with that and there is so much preparation behind the scenes, so it all added to the crazy busy time I've had, of late.

So, there you have it - I hope you can forgive me and I'll see you again soon!

Best Thoughts

This is the swap I made for our last team meeting (yep, I know - it was ages ago). I've cased it from the wonderfully talented Sandi MacIver who is from Oregon. The card uses some of the new designer series paper for the background from the neutrals paper stack. Don't you love the script paper?!  That was the draw card for me and I think it really makes the card pop. The stamped image is from the hostess set Best Thoughts which I had fun colouring and fount it very therapeutic :-)

Stamp: Best Thoughts (hostess set)
Card: Whisper White, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Ink: Black Staz On, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Designer Paper: Neutral Paper Stack
Tools: Aqua Painter, Dazzling Details

Have a happy week everyone!
