Off the Grid meets Gorgeous Grunge

Here's a card that I made a friend last month for her birthday. I cased it from Amy O'Neil and had lots of fun making it.

Stamp set: Off the Grid, Six Sided Sampler, Four You, Gorgeous Grunge
Card: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Designer Paper: Modern Medley
Ink: Crushed Curry, Pistachio Pudding, Calypso Coral, Gumball Green, Versamark
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, In Colour Dahlias, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, White Bakers Twine, Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon
Tools: Heat Gun, Hexagon Punch

How is your Easter shaping up? I've had a lovely weekend so far - on Friday I went to the movies with my daughters (we saw The Other Woman, which was a hoot!), met a girlfriend for dinner and then she had a sleepover at mine on Saturday night and am meeting up with another girlfriend this afternoon for coffee and a catch up. In between the socialising I've been having a big tidy up around the house. The only thing that I haven't managed to achieve is some crafting. I just might have to remedy that...

Have a happy Easter Monday everyone!

Hexagon - Six Sided Sampler

This was a card that I cased a wee bit back and thought it would be fun to share now. Call it an old to me, new to you card! I love, love, love the Six Sided Sampler stamp set and couldn't wait to try it out. Initially some of the stamps didn't stamp so well, so I had to give them a little rub over with the sanding block. That conditions them and allows the ink to cover the stamp better. I must apologise because I can't remember who I cased this from, but if you know, please feel free to comment so I can share the credit :-)

Stamp set: Six Sided Sampler, Four You
Card: Whisper White, Soft Sky, Soft Suede
Designer Paper: Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink: Soft Sky, Soft Suede
Accessories: Linen Thread, Very Vintage Designer Buttons
Tools: Big Shot, Honeycomb EF

Well, I have to run for now, but thanks for stopping by! I'm heading back down to National Park for the weekend, but this time I'm going to a friends 50th birthday celebration. I'm really looking forward to it because I'm also meeting up with my beau ♥. Have a fabulous weekend everyone and I'll see you back here soon!

This is the last month for SAB, so don't delay, contact me today to place your order. Read all about the deets here. I've cased this card from Marion Stempelt who is a demonstrator from Germany.

Happy Watercolour card

This is my favorite time of the Stampin' Up! year! There's no limit to the number of free gifts you can earn when you order during Sale-a-bration.  So go ahead, stock up on adhesive and cardstock! Pick out some new goodies from the Occasions Catalogue and enjoy your free gifts from Stampin' Up! You get one FREE gift for every $110 you spend.

Sometimes it's hard to see the potential of a stamp set when you see it in a catalogue, so I'll be sharing some of my favourite swaps and projects to make the Sale-a-bration products come to life! I hope you enjoy looking at them and if there is anything that I can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact me

Here are the make and takes we made at my Occasions catalogue launch a few weeks ago. For the first card we've used the Stamp set Happy Watercolour. It was a quick and easy one layer card and is cased from Leonie Schroder

These tags were cased from Julie Davison - but I've used the new fringe scissors which shooshes them up a bit.
