Hello, Lovely

I received this swap back in June from Julia Leece at our Creative Inkers team training. There's a lot of work that's been put into this card and I love all the elements that tie it together.

Stamp set: Hello, Lovely, Gingham Wheel
Card: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Strawberry Slush
Designer Series Paper: Modern Medley
Ink: Strawberry Slush
Tools: Big Shot, Fancy Fan EF, Small Scallop Rotary Trimmer

I've scheduled this post while I'm away however, I can tell you that we'll still be in Los Angeles when you read this. I've only ever been to main land America twice before - the first time in 1986 to Las Vegas and then a few months ago to San Diego, so it's all very exciting!

I hope your weekend is wonderful and the weather is warm!

Gingham Style

This gorgeous swap was made by Lisa Bullock. Very pretty and elegant. I love the pressed clay flower decorated with dazzling diamonds. You can't really see it in the photo, but the flower is very sparkly. I also love the new Gingham Wheel - I haven't had a play with it yet, but imagine that there'll be endless ways to use it.

Stamp Sets: Bring on the Cake, Everything Eleanor, Gingham Wheel
Card: Whisper White
Ink: Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Suede
Accessories: Simply Pressed Clay and Molds, White Bakers Twine, Dazzling Diamonds, Rhinestones
Tools: Elegant Butterfly Punch, Big Shot, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder

I hope you're enjoying all the swaps that I've been showcasing lately. I've plenty more where they've come from, so stay tuned and I'll see you back here again soon!
