Customer Thank You cards

I always like to include a little card with my customer's orders, as a small token of my appreciation. This was the one I made for them this week, which I have cased from Crafting Clare in the UK. These multi coloured cards are surprisingly quick and easy to make, using marker pens. The most important part is to 'huff' on the stamp to moisten the ink before stamping.

Have you tried tying a ribbon with the seam binding ribbon?  It is without a doubt, the easiest ribbon to work with and my bows always turn out pretty good the very first time. Sometimes they might get a bit wrinkled in the process, but hey - what's a few wrinkles between friends??

Stamp Set: Thoughts and Prayers, Thank You Kindly

I'm so pleased I decided to make swaps for our Stamp Camp last weekend - even if it did make my week crazier than usual. This is one of my favourite swaps made by Sharon de Vos. Notably Ornate

I like to pop a little thank you card into my customer's orders, to thank them for their loyalty.  This was one I made recently.  It's a one layer card and I've cased it from Crafty Clare.  It took me longer to get my things out, than it did to make it. Don't ya love that!

Card stock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Beautiful Wings embosslits die, Basic rhinestones

I'll be on my way to Rotorua as you read this... for our annual Creative Inker's Demonstrator Stamp Camp.  Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm catching up with an good friend today who is visiting from Turkey. We've known each other since we were in our early 20's and use to work together in Wellington.  She's an avid crafter too - so I'll be bringing out some of my toys and we're having a play date.  That is, so long as we can stop talking long enough to actually play ;)

Stationery Kit

At the school where I work, everyone is rostered to provide a prize for a raffle once a year.  I like to make something using my SU! goodies and this year was no exception.  I made a set of cards using Fifth Avenue Floral in a folded compendium and a little bag of choccies.  The initial idea came from Andrea Walford, but I've added a few extra cards and increased the size of the compendium, so they could all fit.

The designer paper I used has  retired and fortunately I still had a piece of Kiwi Kiss ribbon to match.

I didn't realise that I hadn't gotten around to photographing all of the cards, but you get the general idea anyway.

Stamp Sets: Fifth Avenue Floral, Thank You Kindly, Upsy Daisy
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Kiwi Kiss (retired), Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Designer Series Paper: Urban Oasis (retired)
Ink: Basic Grey, Kiwi Kiss (retired), Baja Breeze
Accessories: Blender Pen, Manhattan Embossing Folder, Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon, Silver Brads, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Punch, Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain (retired), Flower Fusion Too (retired).

Check back in a day or two, because I'll have something to show you from my Vintage class which is on tomorrow.

Enjoy  your weekend :)

These were some thank you cards I made for the ladies who submitted an order, after a workshop I did. I cased it from Andrea Walford who is an amazing American Stampin' Up! demonstrator. It's actually one I've  made a few times and I really like it.

Fifth Avenue Floral

When I first saw the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set - it didn't really appeal to me. That was until my wonderful upline Karen showed me a few cards using it  and that was it, I was hooked! Karen is really good at making me change my mind by making fabulous projects, so now I try not to pass judgement on any stamp sets too quickly. Anyway, I can't get enough of Fifth Avenue floral and I'm rapt that it doesn't feature in the retiring list. I think "the powers to be" may have had a riot on their hands, if they had tried to.

These cards were part of a stationery kit that I ran as a class (a few times because it was very popular). The idea originally came from the very talented Andrea Walford.  Aren't they fab!

Stamp set: Fifth Avenue Floral, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Grey
DSP: Urban Oasis
Cardstock: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Kraft
Other: Kraft taffeta ribbon, Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain, Baja Breeze felt flowers (flower fusion two), Vintage brads

Regional Training Swap

This is the swap I made for our Regional Training day - it's very easy and is an ideal workshop card.

Regional Training was yesterday and it was 6 hours of fun, stamping, tips and techniques. Having a fun training day, is just one of the great benefits of being a demonstrator!

If you like this card and are interested in hosting a workshop, email me HERE and I can tell you all you need to know. Hosting a workshop is no cost to you and it's a great introduction to stamping.

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Craft White (took a very long time to dry - next time I think I'd emboss it or use White Staz On).
Cardstock: Kraft, Chocolate Chip

Enjoy what's left of your weekend!!
