Stampin' Up! The Open Sea

This was the masculine card we made at the last class I held. Sometimes all you need is a great image (or two), and a quick and easy technique to create a classy card. I can't claim credit for this one though. I cased it from the lovely Sally Williams. You can't see it in the photo, but I've used the technique Faux Silk. The talented Julie Davison has an awesome tutorial on how to do this. Check out Julie's blog here.

Masculine Telescope Card

This was the lovely card that Sally Williams taught us to make a few months ago at our WOW PaperKRafter's team training. Isn't it perfect for the male in your life! I'm having a turn at demonstrating it myself this weekend at a class I'm running this afternoon and again on Tuesday evening. This afternoon's class is full but there are still spaces available for Tuesday night- details are to the left of my blog. Thanks so much for sharing this with us Sally.

Open Sea

A short and sweet post today to show you one of the masculine cards we made one weekend at my Masculine Stamp-a-Stack class.  I really like this stamp set and it comes with coordinating designer paper.  Just a reminder that this set and the designer paper is only available until 31 March, so if it was on your wish list, you've only got a few days left to order.

The Open Sea

Do you recognise this card?  It's a case of one of the cards in the Summer Mini (page 18), except I've used a different message because my tags are bigger and their message wouldn't have fit. There are some really cool stamps in this set and it would also make some great scrapbook layouts.  This card was a little bit fiddly to make with the fussy cutting, but I think it was worth the effort.
