Happy New Year!

Hello everyone and welcome to a New Year!!  I know, I know.... it's already 10 January but for those of you who follow my blog, you will know that I didn't have any Internet for quite a while before Christmas and then I went away.  I ended up staying away a bit longer than planned and arrived back late Saturday night to a miserable and wet Auckland.

How was your Christmas and New Year celebration?  I had a wonderful time with my daughters and family down in Palmerston North. I also managed to catch up with a few school friends (one I hadn't seen for over 25 years) and ex Air Force friends too, which was great fun.  Don't you love it when you can pick up where you left off, no matter how much time has lapsed since seeing each other?

I hope you have lots of happy memories of 2011 and although it has been a difficult one for many, I hope you have a positive outlook on what's to come in 2012.

The mystery surrounding my Internet problems have been rectified {doing the happy dance here} and it was a data entry error that caused me all that grief.  Someone who lives in my area had changed their provider and when the new provider entered their details they entered one wrong digit which made it my phone number, instead of theirs.  Because all of their other details were correct the changeover process went ahead.  I can't believe that something so simple was so time consuming and inconvenient.  Anyway we're back now, so I'm a happy chappy once again :)

With all the craziness that has been going on in our little world - the one thing that has been lacking is stamping. And, needless to say I've missed it and hope to get back into it real soon.

The card I'm featuring here is one I made before Christmas.  I loved the simplicity of it and I've cased it from my friend Sally Williams.  The only stamp used, is the Happy Birthday message from Curly Cute.

Stamp set: Curly Cute
Card Stock: Whisper White, Island Indigo, Lime Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral
Ink: Pool Party
Accessories: In Colour Designer Printed Brads, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon

Enjoy your evening and hopefully I'll be back again soon.
