2014 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to the ESAD 2014 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop!  Whether you started with my post or you arrived here from the very talented and ever amazing Andrea Buckland, make sure you continue by clicking on the link in each blog and you will enjoy a fabulous round of 19 projects.

“What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and is a Facebook group just for Australian and New Zealand Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

We love what we do and love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas and friendship and we're always there to help and support each other.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address then I'll contact you with information on how to join our group.”

Now onto my projects :-)

I've used Festival of Trees for the cards shown and I love this set because of its versatility. It features 5 Christmas Trees that can be decorated different ways and there is also 3 messages. Come and have a look....

In the card above I've used some foil embossed paper from the lovely All is Calm Designer Series Paper (DSP) which you'll find on page 22 of the Holiday catalogue. The Christmas trees are stamped in Perfect Plum and the message is stamped in Blackberry Bliss although that's quite hard to see in the photo.

On this card, I've used some other pieces from the All is Calm DSP in Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz which I think go beautifully together.

Stamp set: Festival of Trees, Endless Wishes
Card Stock: Whisper White, Perfect Plum,
DSP: All is Calm
Ink: Perfect Plum, Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Lost Lagoon Silky Taffeta Ribbon, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Basic Pearls, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Candy Dots (Subtles), Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Tools: Big Shot, Ovals Framelits, Small Oval Punch.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my cards. Now you can now hop on over to Sally Williams and check out her fabulous project. She always has something surprising and wonderful to share. Happy hopping and enjoy all the awesome projects and inspiration that you find along the way! Don't forget to leave a comment for each blog as I am sure they would all love to hear from you.

Flower Patch

This was one of the cards we made at class over the weekend. It uses the photopolymer Flower Patch stamp set and I must say that I'm quite impressed with these stamps. This was the first time I'd used them {I know, where have I been??}. Because they're clear, you don't have to use a stamp-a-ma-jig and are very easy to position and they also stick incredibly well to the clear blocks.

Stamp set: Flower Patch (Photopolymer)
Card: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Designer Paper: All Abloom paper stack
Ink: Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Tangelo Twist and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Markers
Accessories: Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon, Brights Candy Dots
Tools: Big Shot, Flower Flair Framelits Dies.

I'm repeating this class on Tuesday 30 September at 7.30pm and there are still spaces available if you want to join us. Email me to register.

Blended Bloom

I have been meaning to post this gorgeous card for ages but as you know, my blogging and card making have taken a back seat of late. I made this card at our big team training day back in June. It was a fantastic day and great to meet up with other demonstrators and to learn new tips, tricks and techniques.

The card here was coloured using the new Blendabilities Markers, these are alcohol based markers that blend together really easily. This was my first attempt at using them and I'm really pleased with my efforts.

Stamp Set: Dictionary, Petite Pairs, Blended Bloom
Ink: Black Tuxedo Memento stamp pad, Black Staz on
Card: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Designer Paper: Brights Colour Collections Stack
Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Tools: Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities, Daffodil Delight Blendabilities

Have a great week everyone!

Good Greetings Promotion and the Holiday Catalogue is Here!

I'm a little bit late with this announcement however, I do have a very good excuse and have my own announcement to share with you. You'll have to scroll to the bottom to read all about it :-)

Exciting times in Stampin' Up!  We've got our new Holiday Catalogue for those of you hankering to do some Christmas creating.  It's chock full of delicious new treats for you and you'll want to have a look!

Click HERE to download the pdf or email me if you want one sent to you (it will cost just $2.40 for postage) or pick one up from me.

And, while you're making up your Wish List, the good news is Stampin' Up! is offering a FREE, exclusive stamp set for anyone who either hosts a qualifying workshop or who puts in an order for $350! This offer is only available until 31 October.

It's a very cute set and so useful!

Now, onto my exciting announcement ~ my first grandchild, a beautiful healthy little girl called Kyla Rose entered this world at 11.24am last Monday 25 August 2014, weighing in at 6lbs 13oz. My daughter Bridgette was amazing and I couldn't be more proud of her.  Here's a photo of darling little Kyla at two days old.

Isn't she adorable?! And, in case you're wondering she has a quite a bit of dark hair under her little beanie. I've been on cloud nine since Monday and I'm sure I'll come back down to earth sometime soon, but in the meantime I've been thoroughly enjoying all the cuddles from this precious little bundle.

Have a wonderful week everyone!
