January and February means lots of birthdays for me, including one of my sisters, brother, niece and more than 8 girlfriends! A popular and busy time, that's for sure. This is a card that I made for my friend Sally. I cased it from from Monica Gale - a talented demonstrator in America.

A new school year has begun and the holidays are but a distant memory. And, of course as Murphy would have it, the temperatures are soaring higher than ever and making it hot and sticky. To be honest, I'm finding it extremely tiring and not handling being back at work very well. How are you coping? On a positive note, it's a short week and the weekend is just around the corner, so that's gotta call for a happy dance :)

These are some little cards that I made a few weeks back using the Aviary stamp set which was in the recent Summer mini catalogue. I love this set and am hoping that it will make it into the next big catalogue to be released on 1st September. It's still ages away yet, but one can hope...

Here are another two swaps that I received at our Stamp Camp. I think you'll agree that they're both lovely. The first one is from Ria and she's teamed the Owl from Punch Bunch with the little owl from the Aviary stamp set. It's very cute. Remember that the stamp set Aviary is only available until 31 March from the Summer Mini Catalogue and you can earn Punch Bunch absolutely FREE with orders of $120 for Sale-A-Bration, also only available until 31 March.
The second card that also uses the owl from the Punch Bunch stamp set was made by Bev Poultney. She's used Concord Crush and Certainly Celery which look great together and the delicate Pinking Hearts Border punch from the Summer Mini catalogue and so also only available until 31 March. You won't want to miss out on this.

This card is one of the gorgeous swaps I recieved at Stamp Camp. Moana Dawson is the creator of this stunning card and she's used some of my favourite stamps including Aviary (from the Summer mini), Bliss (Sale-A-Bration) and the sentiment is from Occasional Greetings. I love the colours Moana's used: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. This will definitely be going in my case file. I'm just sorry that the photo doesn't do it justice, but take it from me - it is really lovely!
I had my mini catalogue launch last weekend and this was the card the ladies made. Truth be known, it's actually a variation of what they made, because I was still running around like a chook making up my sample, which I wasn't really happy with, when the first ladies arrived...
It may look familiar to some of you because I've cased it from Jacque's swap she did for her first level training, earlier in December. I loved her card as soon as I saw it and knew I had to make one myself.
